How important are supplements for your pets?

“While supplements can add up monetarily, it is possible that they might save you some vet bills in the long run by slowing down the effects of some subclinical problems,” Dr. John E. Bauer, Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences

Is it our utmost concern that our pets stay healthy in order to be active and happy? What do we do to ensure that they are in their pink of health?

#Pet owners start off by planning a good and #balanced diet coupled with regular or routine

activities such as walks and plays to engage their pets physically and mentally. Regular health checks with the veterinarians also help in early detection of ailments or illnesses.

Studies have found that like human, pets do not get all the nutrients they need from feeds – food alone might not meet your cat’s or dog’s health requirements. Hence #supplements are vital to adjust any deficiencies or lessen the effects of ailments. Supplements are supplemented in your #pet’s diet for many reasons but the most crucially to ensure they maintain their pink of health and not fall ill easily. Hence it brings us to the making sure their immune system is in check. Immune system consists of a network of white blood cells, antibodies, and other substances that fight off infections and reject foreign proteins which keep the pets healthy. Giving supplements which boost their immune systems can make a substantial difference in their life.

CAHO has a dedicated R&D team made up of veterinarians which undertakes a mission to ‘keep pets healthy and happy for longer’. We formulate supplements that fills the gap of what cats and dogs really need to boost immunity responses with regard to:

  • Maintaining a healthy gut system for nutrients absorption

  • Supporting the body to carry out essential functions in all life stages eg during high physiological stress

CAHO Nucleotide

The first natural dietary #nucleotide supplement. #Nucleotides are the building blocks of life (cells) and are essential for all body functions, including the immune system and for promoting vitality, growth and repair throughout the body.Especially during periods of high physiological stress, the body requires greater amount of #nucleotides to carry out essential functions such as mounting an immune response and body repairs. It is a rich source of essential vitamin B 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9. #CAHONucleotide also supports gastrointestinal tissue integrity and healthy gut microbial growth; in turn improves nutrients absorption for health.

CAHO Immuboost Colostrum Milk

ImmuBoost Colostrum milk is derived from cow colostrum (‘First Milk’) which is naturally rich in immunoglobulins, vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates and digestive enzymes. #CAHOImmuBoost is formulated as an ideal meal supplement for cats & dogs to promote growth, supports the immune system and improve digestive health. #CAHOImmuboost contains high amount of immune mediators and growth factors. #Immunemediators are bioactive compounds that prevent or resolve infection by helping to modulate and promote the host immune response. Growth factors helps in stimulating cell growth, differentiation and wound healing. #
